The Chinese Parliament building hosts approx. 3,000 representatives from China, which makes it the largest parliament building in the world, followed by the Romanian Parliament building, and then by the Hungarian Parliament. They attend the National People’s Congress held for 2 weeks each year.

In comparison, during the communist regime in Hungary, the Parliament building in Budapest was rarely used for parliamentary sessions as the policy, instructions, political directions and directives were issued by, yes, you guessed it already, the Communist People’s Party and the President of the Communist Party, Janos Kadar.
